A similar grade to Zr-2 zirconium alloy is Zr-4 zirconium alloy. Zr-4 zirconium alloy is slightly different from Zr-2 in composition, the main difference is that it does not contain nickel, and the content of iron is appropriately increased.
This adjustment makes Zr-4 zirconium alloy excellent in corrosion resistance, especially in resistance to hydride corrosion.
