Global Titanium Material Production And Processing Continues To Grow, Highlighting China's Titanium Valley Status

Renowned for a particular metal and boasting a world-leading industrial cluster, the historic city of Baoji in Shaanxi Province dominates the domestic titanium industry, ranking first nationwide and earning the titles of "China's Titanium Valley" and "Cradle of China's Titanium Industry." From everyday tableware, eyeglass frames, and dental implants to the "Shenzhou" space missions, "Chang'e" lunar landings, and "Fendouzhe" deep-sea explorations, titanium materials from Baoji are present in both "heavyweights of the great powers" and everyday items.

In Baoji, there are over 600 titanium-related enterprises, with leading enterprises and specialized, innovative small-and-medium-sized enterprises thriving. Statistics show that in 2023, the production and processing volume of titanium materials in Baoji accounted for about 65% of the national total and 33% of the global total, with the titanium industry scale leading the world. Meanwhile, Baoji's titanium industry is also one of the 34 key industrial chains in Shaanxi Province. Shaanxi Province plans to develop a titanium industrial chain valued at over RMB 100 billion to promote the high-end development of the titanium industrial cluster.
