Product Introduction

As a key part of the sound system, the horn assembly undertakes the important task of converting the electrical signal into the sound signal. The horn assembly is mainly composed of the following key parts:

1. Diaphragm: Diaphragm is used to directly push air to produce sound. Common diaphragm materials include paper pan diaphragm, plastic diaphragm (such as polypropylene, referred to as PP diaphragm), metal diaphragm (such as aluminum or its alloy) and synthetic fiber diaphragm (such as Kevlar artificial fiber). These materials have been chosen to achieve optimal acoustic performance and durability.

2. Dust Cap: To prevent dust and other impurities from entering the inside of the horn, protect the internal components from damage.

3. Voice Coil: The voice coil is a group of coils around the voice coil that together with magnets form the driving part of the speaker. When the current passes through the voice coil, a magnetic field reaction is generated that drives the diaphragm to vibrate.

4. Magnet: Usually made of ferrite or strong neodymium. The magnet provides the magnetic field to the voice coil, allowing it to respond to the current signal and drive the diaphragm vibration.

5. Spider: Connect diaphragm and voice coil to provide restoring force for vibration of diaphragm and ensure stable movement of diaphragm during vibration.

6. Basket : As the skeleton of the horn assembly, the frame is used to support other components and protect the internal components from external shocks.

7. Suspension: The rubber part outside the edge of the diaphragm provides additional support and resilience, ensuring that the diaphragm will not be excessively deformed or damaged during vibration.

Types:

1. Moving coil speaker: the most common type of speaker on the market at present, widely used in various audio equipment.

2. Coaxial speakers: The use of two or more monomers are responsible for the sound of different frequency bands, and the openings of these monomers are in the same straight line. This design helps to reduce phase distortion and improve sound quality.

3. Full range unit: One unit is responsible for the design of all audio ranges, mostly found in ultra-small speakers and Bluetooth speakers. However, the current technology is not yet able to achieve perfect coverage of all frequency ranges with a single cell.

4. Multi-tone design: A plurality of monomers are responsible for the sound of different frequency bands, and the audio signal is allocated to the corresponding high, middle and low voice units through the divider. This design helps to improve sound quality and sound layering.

Speaker components are widely used in a variety of sound systems, including home theater, car audio, public address systems, professional recording studios, and more. Different application scenarios have different requirements on the sound quality, power, and size of the horn components, so it is necessary to select the appropriate horn components according to the specific requirements.
